Carrie Weston was born in Kent in 1966.
Since graduating from Warwick University, Carrie Weston has had 18 books for children published, which she writes in a log cabin in her garden.
She began writing when her children were young. Carrie’s “Boris” series is published in 17 languages around the world.
After completing her first degree at Warwick University she taught in schools in London and worked in Educational Psychology before completing a PhD in Scotland in 2007.
She is currently the Programme Leader for Special Needs and Inclusive Education and a member of the School Research and Knowledge Exchange Committee.
She lectures at the University of East London and in her spare time loves football, skiing and walking in the rain with her dogs. She lives in Kent with 3 dogs, 3 cats and her son’s hairy spider.
