BUY – A Perfect Place for Ted
He’s clever, he’s amusing, he has his own jumper…but nobody notices Ted.
Beautifully illustrated with funky, fun pictures, a small dog called Ted decides to leave the pet shop to find somewhere he belongs, somewhere perfect.
The pictures are fantastic with loads of amusing details to investigate. A dog barks ‘ball’ as a picture in his speech bubble and Ted is fashionable not ferocious wearing his studded guard dog collar as a belt! Is it any wonder that the burglar doesn’t notice Ted either.
His foray into circus life is a letdown and his best efforts to get noticed at the pet pageant go unrewarded. Dejected his perseverance and tenacity begin to wane.
A Perfect Place For Ted is sweet little tale about trying to fit in and finding your place takes an unexpected turn when he sees a WANTED poster. “Furry friend for Dot”.
Ripping a corner off the poster that cleverly says TED, he applies!
Throughout the story key words are highlighted, many of which reflect his main dilemma that nobody noticed him.
When he meets Dot they change to NOTICED, HUNG OUT and FABULOUS FRIENDS.
Delighted Ted returns to Dot’s house to find an unexpected sight!
Luckily Dot is a fantastic knitter and her twenty five feline friends are soon sporting wonderful jumpers just like Ted’s!
This is the puuuurrrrfect place for him!
