Daniel Salmieri
Daniel Salmieri grew up in Brooklyn, NY making drawings of fighter jets, Ninja Turtles and the 1990s Knicks roster.
He graduated from the University of the Arts in 2006 with a BFA in Illustration. Daniel has illustrated eight picture books, which include a New York Times bestseller and Notable Book.
He has won several awards including the Borders Original Voices Award and the NAIBA 2013 Book of the Year Award. His illustrations have been in the Brooklyn Public Library and the Society of Illustrators.
He’s also illustrated theatre posters, album art, and portraits of people’s dogs.
